How to turn a site built with "Core" template into "Elegant"? Where do I find the template download only? Thank you

Hello, Dario.

First of all, yes, it's possible to change from a template to an other (Core to Elegant, for example), download any Template Updates and change your theme at Extensions -> Templates

If you don't want to do that, you could try something, Joomla has a little mistake but it's easy to fix it for yourself if the installation doesn't work. Go to Template Folder -> Iinstallation -> sql -> mySql -> joomla.sql and replace all InnoDB for MyISAM_.

If that doesn't work, anyways I recomend you to contact us, we could install Elegant on our server for 19€/month, it works everything fine there so you could work comfortably there!

Dario March 6, 2018 Hi Joel. In my root the "installation" folder is under the domain not under the "template" folder. Under "installation" main folder I found sql -> mySQL -> joomla.sql file. I opened it but what should I change inside. There is no voices like Innodb.
